Job Title: Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team at Inland Technologies International Limited. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment used in glycol recovery and processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor glycol processing equipment units to ensure optimum production and efficiency.
  • Maintain glycol processing equipment according to Inland's maintenance manuals and SOPs.
  • Complete and distribute daily glycol processing equipment production reports.
  • Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes.
  • Perform general maintenance on concentrators, including removing and installing heat exchanger plates, changing filters, and cleaning cyclones.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and make good judgments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weather.
  • General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude.
  • Must be comfortable working at various heights.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints.
Work Environment:

The Equipment Operator will work in a mixture of operational and office environments. The job will involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may be excessive at times.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to climb 15-foot heights for work.
  • Position involves standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms.
  • Ability to work in a confined space for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors for long periods when necessary.
  • Wearing of personal protective equipment when required and full mobility allowing for freedom of movement in high-risk environments.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and hear efficiently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
