BIM Coordinator Job Description

Lemay is seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing project aspects and providing technical assistance to production teams.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of BIM and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software is also required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in writing the BIM management plan;
  • Attending interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary BIM meetings;
  • Monitoring models;
  • Checking the quality and rendering of models;
  • Detecting interference;
  • Creating families;
  • Creating print sheets;
  • Supporting the project team and modellers;
  • Helping manage the ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) collaborative platform and/or others;
  • Keeping the BIM Manager informed of projects' progress to help BIM management make decisions regarding the tools and methodologies deployed;
  • Helping maintain a high standard of quality in BIM practices.

Qualifications include:

  • College diploma in architectural technology, a university degree in architecture, or any other combination of relevant training and experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM and at least 5 years' relevant experience in BIM;
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software;
  • A team player that's autonomous and proactive;
  • Curious and creative with a solution-forward mindset;
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines;
  • Bilingualism in French and English.
