Aerospace Engineering Technologist - Method

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineering Technologist - Method to join our team in the aerospace industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in creating work instructions and maintaining work orders and routers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain Technical Process Instructions (Repair Layouts) to ensure efficient repair processes.
  • Provide technical coordination for detailed Repair Process Layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Track the status of repair units alongside repair layouts, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Review Concessions, Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs), Deficiency Reports, Engineering Dispositions (DREDs), Repair Engineering Orders (REOs), and Deviation Reports prior to creating Repair Process Layouts.
  • Support the design of tooling and test equipment for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
  • Assist with 3D printing-related projects, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation.
  • Liaise with Support Engineering and Sub-Contractors on technical issues, updating the Concession Database Log to ensure seamless communication.
  • Prepare cost estimates related to repairs, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Update SAP business system and Work in Progress (WIP) Reports as necessary, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • University degree or College diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting Manufacturing Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, and industry specifications (Boeing, Military, Component Maintenance Manuals).
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, and SAP.
  • Experience with CATIA and 3D printing is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) is a desirable asset.
