Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a variety of education, skills, and recreational activities for our inpatient patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized activity plans, taking into account patients' interests and needs.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Document patient progress and provide feedback to the Group Therapy Coordinator.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, or a related field.
- Experience working with clinical populations, preferably in a psychiatric hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
