Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Gateway Casinos Corporate Office. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and administration of desktop/laptop applications, systems, and peripherals for our corporate and gaming environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy PC images
- Install, support, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software equipment and issues
- Provide technical support and solutions for Gaming Management System peripherals and corporate applications
- Collaborate with other team members and functional stakeholders to meet business needs
Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in an IT Support role, preferably in a casino environment
- Knowledge of Gaming and Entertainment Industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking, user/group setup, LAN security setup
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP Internetworking, routing and switching management
- Working knowledge of PC and server hardware installations and repairs
- Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016 an asset
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Office and casino environments
- Postures vary throughout the day
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals and to repair equipment
- Ability to physically inspect equipment on location
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Occasional travel is required, both land and plane
