This exciting opportunity is aimed at enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to our guests, all while maintaining a cheerful and welcoming demeanor. Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure adherence to service and product standards, creating memorable experiences for both guests and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patrons in a friendly and professional manner;
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the beverage menu and preparation methods;
  • Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system;
  • Take and fulfill guest orders while providing insightful recommendations;
  • Maintain precise cash handling and reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift;
  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest experiences and promote additional offerings;
  • Ensure cleanliness of tables and seating areas within the coffee service environment;
  • Greet guests warmly and respond to inquiries regarding menu items;
  • Keep service areas tidy and restock supplies as necessary;
  • Report any unusual activities or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly;
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service;
  • Understand and execute opening and closing cash handling procedures;
  • Regularly clean and sanitize food preparation areas and equipment;
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of beverage equipment;
  • Comply with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations;
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Food & Beverage Management Team.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system;
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience in preparing and serving beverages;
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate is required;
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs;
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills;
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service;
  • Proactive approach with a focus on solutions and success;
  • Demonstrated initiative and active listening skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management;
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
