Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Beausejour Peat Moss Inc. as a General Laborer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to peat moss production, including checking and weighing materials, sorting and packaging products, and cleaning machines and work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Sorting and Packaging: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Other Labouring Activities: Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to odours, dust, and noise. The work site environment requires the ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Language: English or French is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 45 hours per week.
