About the Account Manager RoleAs an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving positive sales growth for a specific geographical area or vertical market. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 40 to 45 accounts with an average annual revenue of $2 million.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within your assigned customer base.
- Understand customer objectives and remain attentive to their evolving needs, providing tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Leverage market data and industry knowledge to proactively address new developments in customer business activities and identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, and technical support for your customers.
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies to maximize sales potential within each assigned territory.
- Proven track record of success in direct field sales (or equivalent experience in inside sales or marketing) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the MRO industry and its key players.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
