Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Control Specialist to join our team at Underwriting Solutions. As a Loss Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing residential and commercial properties to identify potential risks and provide recommendations to reduce losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to reduce the frequency and severity of losses
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their risk management needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in loss control and risk management
Requirements
  • Education in insurance, construction, or engineering
  • Experience in building codes, fire services, construction, and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in computer software and databases
