Job Title: Loss Control Specialist

At Underwriting Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Loss Control Specialist to join our team. As a Loss Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing residential and commercial properties on behalf of insurance companies, providing loss prevention recommendations to reduce the frequency and severity of losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to mitigate risks and reduce losses.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their property's unique characteristics and develop tailored loss prevention plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients and insurance companies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in loss control and risk assessment.
Requirements:
  • Education in insurance, construction, or engineering.
  • Experience with building codes, fire services, construction, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
