We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Director to lead our supply chain initiatives at Launch Recruiting Inc. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics and procurement processes within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Qualifications- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 5 years or more in a relevant field or equivalent experience
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic setting focused on manufacturing and distribution.
Financial OversightThe role includes budgetary responsibilities exceeding $8,000,001.
Key Responsibilities- Delegate projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse teams across the organization.
- Coordinate the activities of personnel involved in the procurement, sales, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Assess daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan and manage budgets and expenditures.
- Organize and oversee daily operational activities.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with company policies.
- Recruit, train, guide, and inspire staff members.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
- Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods and services.
- Authorize the creation of specifications for products or services.
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships.
- Supervise the analysis of data and information.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management.
Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.
