About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at Factory Edge Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Carpentry and Construction
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
    • Fabricate and install cabinets, countertops, and other custom features.
  • Team Leadership and Support
    • Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and construction staff.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects are meeting quality and safety standards.
    • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly.
  • Client Communication and Satisfaction
    • Communicate project progress and timelines to clients.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through regular meetings and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in renovation carpentry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven experience in renovation carpentry, including project planning, execution, and quality control.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced construction environment.
