At Factory Edge Construction Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for renovating and maintaining residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Renovation and Maintenance: Prepare layouts, measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and plan projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in mentorship programs and diversity training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, and cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in renovation and construction.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
