Position: Legal Technician

Status: Full-time - 35 hours/week

Department: Client Services

Direct Supervisor: Director of Client Services

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tenants, applicants, and visitors by providing essential information and support
  • Draft and manage subleases and lease agreements
  • Generate work orders for reported issues and coordinate with maintenance personnel
  • Evaluate data concerning tenants and outstanding rent
  • Prepare submissions for the Quebec Rental Board
  • Support eviction procedures, communication strategies, and other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Secondary V Diploma or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting
  • Proficiency in Inuktitut, English, and/or French
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
Compensation and Benefits:

We provide a competitive salary, retirement savings plan, travel allowances, and additional benefits. The starting salary is $29.21/hour, commensurate with experience.
