ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding client service, meeting individual sales targets, and fostering enduring client relationships while gaining a comprehensive understanding of boutique operations. New hires will undergo extensive training on Christofle's heritage, corporate culture, and product offerings. This position collaborates closely with various teams including Customer Service, Finance, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Performance
- Achieve and surpass individual sales objectives.
- Maintain a proactive sales approach.
Client Development
- Create a welcoming, client-centric atmosphere by providing exemplary service in person, via phone, and through digital communication.
- Build a robust local and international client portfolio, including interior designers, estate managers, and corporate clients.
- Exhibit extensive product knowledge, engaging clients with the narratives and details of our offerings.
- Assist with after-sales inquiries, including engraving and repairs, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to resolve client issues effectively, benefiting the business.
Boutique Operations
- Uphold visual merchandising and cleanliness standards, ensuring product care.
- Manage merchandise orders from various sources to fulfill client requests.
- Support inventory management tasks, including stock organization and transfers.
- Participate in inventory counts and safeguard boutique assets by adhering to operational procedures.
- Execute all point-of-sale transactions, including sales, returns, and packaging of merchandise.
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional selling, networking, and follow-up skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in completing business and client-related documentation accurately.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of establishing lasting relationships through effective communication and organization.
- Proficient in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems and POS systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in Retail Sales and Client Service, ideally within a luxury goods context.
- Fluency in French and English is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with a passion for creativity and fashion.
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service across various communication channels.
- Must possess work authorization that does not require future visa sponsorship.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Regular use of computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Physical tasks may include lifting and moving items up to 30 pounds.
- Frequent standing, climbing, and reaching.
