SMT Inspector/Repairer - Electronics Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary:

  • Ensure that all electronic components and assemblies meet the required quality standards.
  • Perform soldering and repair/rework of Surface Mount components to meet manufacturing and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and safety.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Repair and rework Surface Mount components using soldering techniques.
  • Meet manufacturing and quality targets by working efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and safety.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the production team.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduate with a strong background in electronics and manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in hand soldering and assembly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • General knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working in a production environment or with similar equipment.
