Commercial Banking Analyst Intern Co-op

Scotiabank is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Banking Analyst Intern Co-op to join our team. As a Commercial Banking Analyst Intern Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team of professionals to deliver advice and solutions to mid and large-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Deepen client relationships by understanding clients' businesses and providing actionable recommendations to support credit decisions
- Conduct company and industry analysis to inform credit decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers
- Provide administrative support and service for client-facing interactions
- Make sound and timely credit underwriting support and financial analysis
- Enrolled in an MBA or undergrad degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in providing customer needs-based advice and solutions
- Natural curiosity and passion for satisfying customer needs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
