Position Overview

The role of a Food and Beverage Server is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests at Chettinad Dosa Palace. This position involves various responsibilities that contribute to the overall satisfaction of patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Welcome guests, present menus, and offer recommendations while addressing any inquiries related to food and beverages.
  • Order Management: Take and relay orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely service.
  • Payment Processing: Present bills to customers and handle payments through various methods including cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Wine Expertise: Provide guidance on wine selections and maintain inventory of wines and glassware.
  • Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Control: Order and manage stock levels of wines and related supplies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
