Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Rock n Rodz. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Load buspans and trays.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Portion and wrap foods.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and as a Kitchen Helper, you will be expected to work efficiently and effectively in a team setting.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
