Job Title: Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Automotive Assistant to join our team at Foreign Express Auto Sales Services Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our mechanics and tradespersons with various tasks, including moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to prevent accidents
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. They will also be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.

Weight Handling

The successful candidate will be required to lift and move weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.

Experience

Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
