We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical imaging
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups
