Medical Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiography Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
About the Role:- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on radiography and fluoroscopy procedures.

- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
- Ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups.
- Knowledge integration and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate radiography and fluoroscopy equipment.
