Job Summary

PANJAAB TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Route Management: Plan and manage routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brake pads, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience in truck driving is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 60 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
  • Work Environment: The job requires working in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions and potential hazards on the road.
