Job Summary

Transway Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a two-person team or convoy, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
