Business Development Partner Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboarding and training of developing Advisors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with Advisors to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, and provide coaching and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sun Life obligations, including licensing, registration, and product suitability.
  • Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Advisor role, with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors.
  • Strong sales management and business development skills, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment and ability to ensure compliance with Sun Life obligations.
  • Valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
