As a seasoned Business Systems Analyst, your primary focus will be on HR, Payroll, and Finance systems, including Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, UKG Workforce Central, Vertex, and Taleo. Your responsibilities will encompass assessing business needs and proposing effective solutions, while also engaging in scripting, programming, ongoing application support, and project management.

This role requires a high level of independent judgment and action within established guidelines, involving both technical tasks such as database maintenance and collaboration with clients and vendors. You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills across various systems as operationally required.

This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work.

Minimum Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in an IT Systems related field.
Minimum Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT department as a technical/systems analyst focused on HR/Finance/Payroll, with a preference for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Experience with a Canadian payroll system in a technical/systems analyst capacity.
Other Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
  • Must successfully complete a Police Information Check.
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing reports and applications using various tools, including JDE Design Tools, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, and SSRS.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting interfaces between systems using SQL and proprietary vendor tools.
  • Managing user accounts and security protocols.
  • Providing technical support to business users on related applications.
  • Configuring existing system functionalities to align with business requirements.
  • Researching and enabling new system functionalities.
  • Installing software updates and performing necessary technical adjustments.
  • Conducting Microsoft SQL database administration tasks.
  • Performing data refreshes, creating queries, and managing data imports and exports.
  • Collaborating with vendors and their support channels to fulfill business requirements.
  • Executing routine system administration tasks.
  • Carrying out other related duties as required.
