Director of Fitness Operations

**Key Responsibilities:**

As a key member of the Timreed team, the Director of Fitness Operations will be responsible for driving the success of the fitness department. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet or exceed fitness programming sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Leading a high-performing team of fitness professionals, including hiring, training, and developing staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensuring the fitness department operates efficiently, with a focus on labor and cost control.
  • Conducting regular fitness assessments, training sessions, and personal training sessions to maximize sales and retention.
  • Reconciling fitness programming revenue, calculating payroll, and ensuring compliance with certifications and regulations.
  • Providing ongoing education and training to fitness staff on program design, functional exercise, nutrition, and other relevant topics.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, the Director of Fitness Operations will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a health and fitness-related field or business.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a personal trainer, with management and sales experience preferred.
  • Valid and current personal training certification from a nationally accredited certifying body, or a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
