Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Manage and/or draft all document deliverables, including technical reports, proposals, and specifications.
    • Carry out technical procedures and work plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Client Management
    • Attend and/or lead project management, client, office, and team meetings.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, issue resolution, and project delivery.
  • Geotechnical Investigations
    • Plan, monitor, and supervise geotechnical investigations, including exploratory drilling and/or wells, soil sampling, and in-situ testing.
    • Process, compile, and analyze data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Project Administration
    • Carry out project administration tasks, including timesheet generation, project invoicing, and budget management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise, support, and/or mentor project team members, ensuring their growth and development.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Education
    • A university degree in geological engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Superior document management abilities, with experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, and technical reports.
    • Good written and verbal English skills, with superior communication skills.
    • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
    • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
    • Previous experience in an engineering environment, with geotechnical drilling, settlement analyses, slope stability assessments, and civil construction.
  • Soft Skills and Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability with scheduling changes and available for overtime, evening, or weekend work during peak periods.
    • A strong commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work.
    • Interest in mentoring/sharing knowledge and expertise with junior team members.
