Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Lead UI Designer to join our team and create visually stunning and functional designs for our products. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for developing a strong visual identity across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain a Consistent Design Language: Create and maintain a consistent design language, UI design systems, and accessibility standards to ensure a cohesive visual identity across our products.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX Design, Industrial Design, and Engineering, to deliver high-quality designs that meet customer needs.
  • Create Engaging User Interfaces: Create engaging user interfaces for multiple software and app platforms.
  • Transform Design Briefs into High-Fidelity Prototypes: Transform design briefs into high-fidelity prototypes to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Present Work to Stakeholders: Present work to stakeholders, capture feedback, and synthesize insights to inform design decisions.
  • Critique Design Reviews: Critique design reviews to drive progress and improvement.
  • Work with Designers and Engineers: Work with designers and engineers to implement and deliver final products.
  • Co-create Visual Media Assets: Co-create visual media assets, such as logos, color palettes, and graphical elements, with the brand marketing team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Design & Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 8+ Years of Experience as a Team Lead: 8+ years of experience designing consumer products and mobile/web app experiences, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a team lead.
  • Exceptional Portfolio: Exceptional portfolio showcasing recent UI design work with problem/solution process.
  • Knowledge of Product Discovery and User-Centered Design Approaches: Knowledge of product discovery and user-centered design approaches.
  • Mastery of Design Skills: Mastery of design skills, including color, typography, information hierarchy, visual balance, and emphasis.
  • Proficient with Prototyping and Graphic Design Applications: Proficient with prototyping and graphic design applications, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong Knowledge of Frontend Frameworks: Strong knowledge of frontend frameworks and basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS).
  • Attention to Detail and Visual Presentation: Attention to detail, visual presentation, and pixel accuracy.
  • Strong Interpersonal Relationships and Task Prioritization: Able to build strong interpersonal relationships and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
