Food Service Attendant

THE YELLOW SUBMARINE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food counter.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized inventory.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for food preparation.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, dependability, and a client-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
THE YELLOW SUBMARINE operates in an urban area, and we are willing to relocate for the right candidate. Public transportation is available, and owning transportation is a plus.
Language:The primary language spoken in this role is English.
Work Hours:37.5 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
