Electromechanical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at JTEKT Bearings Canada Inc. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our plant equipment and machinery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Test and observe electromechanical components and systems using test and measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electromechanical equipment.
  • Install, align, dismantle, and relocate stationary industrial machinery or mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors, following drawings and using hand and power tools.
  • Test motors, transformers, switchgear, or other repaired electrical devices to ensure proper performance.
  • Participate in the installation and maintenance of electromechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic devices and systems used in industry for process automation or energy distribution.
