Job Description Mission:

We are seeking a skilled Building Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Atlantic area. As a key player in building electrical projects, the Engineer will contribute to the design of plans and models, perform surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, as part of a team of engineers, technicians, and drafters, on challenging projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the electrical design of the building, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other related systems.
  2. Perform field surveys and layouts to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
  3. Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software to facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  4. Ensure compliance with norms and standards for plans and models, and conduct site visits to monitor project progress.
  5. Perform calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent.
  3. Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations, including AGI 32 lighting calculation software.
  4. Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in building electrical projects.
  5. Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software, and proficiency in French (both oral and written).
  6. Knowledge of ASP Construction card and valid Driver's license.
