Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Atlantic area. As a key player in building electrical projects, the Engineer will contribute to the design of plans and models, perform surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the electrical design of the building, including electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other systems.
  • Perform field surveys and layouts to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with norms and standards for plans and models, including building electrical codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in certain stages of work supervision to ensure project quality.
  • Perform calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer license from the relevant licensing and regulatory body.
  • Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations.
  • Minimum of two years' relevant experience.
  • Good command of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Proficiency in French (both oral and written).
  • Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software (an asset).
  • ASP Construction card (an asset).
  • Valid Driver's license.
