Job Title: Director of Dissemination and Implementation

Job Description:

Overview: The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Continuing Studies seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as the Director of Dissemination and Implementation. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing the university's mission to translate innovation and improve health, well-being, and equity in Wisconsin and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scientific and programmatic vision for implementation science resources within the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR).
  • Make connections across ICTR, the School of Medicine and Public Health, and allied health to advance implementation science expertise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to bridge gaps between research and practice to ensure the promise of scientific discovery is realized.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to advance the university's mission and goals.

Requirements:

  • MD/Physician applicants will be expected to dedicate up to 70% of their time to their respective department's clinical responsibilities and 35-40% of their time to the Dissemination and Implementation Launchpad leadership role responsibilities.
  • Qualify for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Have a strong track record of funding and publications in implementation science.
  • Have a deep knowledge of implementation science research methods with an area of recognized expertise/specialization in implementation science.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading extramurally funded research using implementation science methodology at the PI level.
