This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate individual with a solid background in coding to become a part of the welcoming and innovative team at it'seeze.

As a national web design franchise, we are seeking a front-end web engineer to support our expanding team and contribute to the realization of our website projects.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our web designers to create tailored websites for small and medium-sized enterprises across various sectors.

Each website will be developed to meet high standards within our proprietary CMS, utilizing our unique layout language and CSS styling. While you will be implementing designs crafted by our in-house team, your expertise will also guide you in creating responsive sites that deliver exceptional visual experiences across all devices. This role offers continuous opportunities to enhance your coding abilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality, precise front-end builds based on provided design visuals.
  • Creating responsive websites that incorporate the latest technologies, ensuring excellent user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
  • Providing assistance to team members with code-related challenges, implementing solutions and improvements for both new and existing sites.
  • As you gain confidence in your role, there is potential for increased responsibilities, including working on our marketing websites, mentoring junior staff, and managing custom projects for clients.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a fundamental grasp of web coding and a genuine interest in web design.

Ideally, you will have a portfolio showcasing websites you have developed and contributed to in terms of design. We seek someone who can demonstrate technical prowess while also exhibiting creativity. You should be a collaborative team player, self-driven, and capable of meeting tight deadlines, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn and grow.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Solid foundation in web design fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of UI, UX, and user-centered design.
  • Able to articulate complex technical concepts to colleagues and clients with varying levels of expertise.
  • Proficient in collaborating with our talented team of front-end developers and designers.
  • Experience with SCSS.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe XD, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Prior experience in building websites using any CMS.
