Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-end Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and reusable web applications using modern web development best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Web Application Development: Build web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern web development technologies.
  • UI/UX Design: Transform app designs into front-end code, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations to ensure optimal application performance.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement on-site SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our web applications.
  • API Integration: Integrate applications with 3rd party services through the use of REST APIs.
  • Agile Development: Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment, collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Skills: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue, experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap, proficiency with HTML5, and working knowledge of web-based accessibility practices.
  • Additional Skills: Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design, experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, and working knowledge of SEO principles.

As a Front-end Web Developer at Armis, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and grow your skills and expertise. We offer a competitive salary range of $78,500 to $106,500 (CAD), bonus, and pre-IPO equity.
