Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Executive Director to join our team at JD Trans Inc. as a key member of our leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our logistics and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of logistics and supply chain operations, including the allocation of resources, management of budgets, and coordination of cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the success of the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the efficient and effective operation of logistics and supply chain functions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior logistics or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals. Strong strategic planning and operational management skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Travel Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events.
