Control Systems Specialist

The System Integrator II is a key role in our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that meet the operational and regulatory needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Program and commission control systems, integrating multiple sub-systems to meet client requirements.
- Create technical documentation, including control logic, test procedures, and user manuals.
- Develop and maintain PLC/RTU programming skills, with expertise in SEL RTAC, Ignition, and Kepware/Topserver.
- Supervise on-site commissioning and start-up, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Take ownership of personal quality, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Control Systems, Integration of Robotics Systems, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in programming, with a strong understanding of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures.
- Renewable energy industry exposure, with knowledge of Wind, PV, and BESS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel 25-35% of the time, with a valid Canadian Driver's License and ability to meet company driving standards.
