Position Overview:
The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking a dedicated and skilled academic radiologist specializing in abdominal imaging to join our esteemed team. This full-time role is aimed at enhancing our Abdominal Imaging Division, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to both clinical practice and academic endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive abdominal and pelvic imaging, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and X-ray.
- Conduct routine fluoroscopic gastrointestinal and genitourinary procedures.
- Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
- Participate in departmental research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an MD degree or equivalent, be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology, and hold fellowship training in Abdominal/Body imaging. Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario is required. Additional training in cardiothoracic imaging will be considered an asset.
