Job Opportunity in Thoracic Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled radiologist to join our team in the Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will work across all thoracic imaging modalities, including CXR, CT and MRI, and lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds as well as resident and fellows teaching rounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach medical students, radiology residents and cardiothoracic fellows
  • Participate in the on-call rotation program
  • Contribute to the development of clinical services in thoracic imaging
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
  • Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • At least one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging
  • Strong commitment to patient care and teaching
What We Offer:
  • Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Fee-for-service model with estimated income of $300,000 per annum for a full-time equivalent
