Position Overview

The role of a Bookkeeper is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This position involves meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques accurately.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries with precision.
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
Experience and Skills
  • No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Work language is English.
  • Work hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
