Job Summary

Kopar Administration Ltd. is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist with payroll and benefits administration, including calculating pay, preparing tax returns, and maintaining employee records.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
