About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Ricky's Parksville. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Portion and wrap foods, package take-out food, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
