Job Overview

CIMA+ is seeking a dedicated technician to oversee our specialized Highway Engineering division. Join our dynamic team in Quebec City, where expertise and collaboration are at the forefront of our projects.

This role offers continuous professional development opportunities. You will engage in significant projects with key stakeholders, focusing on enhancing the infrastructure of urban networks or tackling challenges in rural and forested regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the highway engineering team to oversee ongoing projects.
  • Manage on-site operations and address any challenges that arise.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative data from construction sites for engineering review.
  • Assist contractors by clarifying final plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress in relation to established plans and specifications.
  • Prepare acceptance recommendations and identify any defects.

Qualifications

  • College diploma (DCS) in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Completion of worksite safety training (ASP Construction card).
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French.
