Highway Engineering Supervision Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineering Supervision Technician to join our team in Quebec City. As a key member of our specialized Highway engineering team, you will be responsible for monitoring work in progress, supervising work and helping to solve problems on site, compiling quantitative site data and submitting it to engineers, and providing information on the interpretation of final plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the highway engineering team to monitor work in progress
  • Supervise work and help solve problems on site
  • Compile quantitative site data and submit to engineers
  • Provide information on the interpretation of final plans and specifications
  • Check progress against plans and specifications
  • Prepare recommendations for acceptance of work and list of defects

Qualifications:

  • College diploma (DCS) in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Completed worksite safety training (ASP Construction card)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Geographic mobility (an asset)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
