Stockroom Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire #636. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Stockroom Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise.
- Merchandise Control: Monitor and control merchandise levels, including receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and support to stockroom staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on inventory levels, stockroom operations, and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment, with a focus on inventory management and team leadership.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
