Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience Ownership: Take ownership of the entire customer experience, ensuring that customers receive accurate product information, expert advice, and exceptional service.
  • Sales Focus: Consistently perform actions with a branch sales focus to capitalize on sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty, driving revenue targets.
  • Technical Skills: Learn and easily navigate through various computer systems and applications for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
  • Agility and Adaptability: Demonstrate agility to shift focus seamlessly from assisting customers to other various branch tasks, including performing warehouse and showroom-related tasks safely for pickup or shipping.
  • Branch Appearance and Maintenance: Perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure the branch appearance meets Grainger standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
  • Personal Development and Growth: Own your personal development, accept feedback, and be proactive with your leader to support your growth.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted on a regular basis, and safely learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Language Skills: English and French required, as the role supports and interacts with team members from all Canadian provinces.
