About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the design, operation, and performance of mechanical systems meet the company's standards.
  • Project Management: Plan, manage, and execute projects related to mechanical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Business Development: Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to improve the company's mechanical systems and processes.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential risks associated with mechanical systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a mechanical engineering or maintenance environment.
  • Skills: Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 70 hours bi-weekly.
