About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at Black Belt Jung's Taekwondo. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts training to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging martial arts training programs for students of all ages and skill levels.
    • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Program Planning and Management
    • Plan and coordinate martial arts programs, including curriculum development, scheduling, and logistics.
    • Manage and maintain a safe and organized training environment.
  • Student Support and Development
    • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their martial arts goals.
    • Help students develop their physical and mental skills through martial arts training.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement martial arts programs and events.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. physical education, recreation, etc.).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a martial arts instructor or coach.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of martial arts techniques and principles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
    • First aid and CPR certification.
