Position Overview

TRIUMPH ROOFING & SHEET METAL INC. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Flat Roofer to join our team. This role involves working at various heights and in diverse weather conditions, ensuring the installation and maintenance of roofing systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in roofing or a related field.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to heights
  • Work in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous conditions
  • Outdoor work
Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for the installation and repair of metal roofs.
  • Install sheet metal flashings as required.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
